Hands-on Training program on “Effective Use of Knimbus M-Library: A Live Session on Platform Features and Search Optimization.”

The Central Library of KLE Technological University's Dr. M. S. Sheshgiri Campus, Belagavi, hosted a hands-on training program titled "Knimbus M-Library: A Live Session on Platform Features and Search Optimization.

In his keynote address, Dr. S. F. Patil, the Principal, inaugurated the training program, emphasized the importance of integrating research into technical education, and urged young researchers to prioritize quality research in their careers. He noted the challenges of accessing research articles earlier through traditional library services and interlibrary loans, which took up to fifteen days; now, in the digital era, everything is at the fingertips, highlighting the need for efficient digital solutions, and he suggests that to students can be utilized effectively.

Dr. Praveen Ghorpade, Dean (Academics), welcomed delegates and discussed strategies for successful research, capacity building, and publication process.

Mr. Manikandan Jayakrishnan, Trainee Manager of Knimbus Publishing Industry. Presenting on Knimbus M-Library high-quality educational content through a remote access platform. By training participants on the demonstration of the remote access platform, they said that due to its use, the academic quality will increase, and it will be a comprehensive digital library solution.

Mr. Karisiddappa Kaddipujar, Librarian and training program coordinator, introduced the resource person and outlined the training session objectives. Faculty members, research scholars, students, and library professionals actively engaged. Prof. Rashmi Pujari hosted the program. The training session was conducted with the guidance and support of Dr. Shivaputrappa Kattimani, University Librarian at KLE Technological University Hubli. Dr. Sridhar Iyer, Dean (Research), concluded the session with a vote of thanks.
